This is required before a ceramic coating application unless specifically stated otherwise by the customer. Masato Imports and Customs strongly recommends you pair this with a ceramic coating for best cost-effectiveness and coating longevity. Choose between a one step or three step which Masato is newly offering! A one step is quicker and less thorough, removing many scratches but not all. A three step is a much more in depth process, requiring much more time but will hail better results as almost all scratches and imperfections will be removed. Vehicle paint correction is a process that restores and enhances a car’s paint by removing surface imperfections such as swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, water spots, and etching from contaminants like bird droppings and bugs. Using specialized machine polishers, compounds, and pads, the process involves thorough cleaning, compounding, polishing, and finally applying a protective layer such as wax, sealant, or ceramic coating. This correction is important because it revives the paint’s original gloss and clarity, significantly improving the car’s appearance. It also helps preserve the paint by removing harmful defects that could worsen over time. Additionally, a well-corrected finish increases resale value and provides a better surface for protective coatings to bond and last longer.
